Fruitfulness

"...so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it." -Isaiah 55:11, NIV

Evangelism (the spreading of the Good News) and expansion (the enlarging of life’s potential under God) both multiply by the “seed” of God’s Word. Jesus also described the Word as “seed”—the source of all saving life and growth possibilities coming from the Father to mankind.

Whether we come to Him with a spiritual need, physical need, or emotional need, all increase of life within God’s love comes by His Word, as human response gives room for His blessing to happen. When received, God’s word of promise will never be barren. The power in His Word will always fulfill the promise of His Word. We never need wonder how faith is developed or how fruitfulness is realized.

Fruitfulness is the guaranteed by-product of God’s Word, whether for the salvation of a lost soul or the provision of a disciple’s need. God’s Word cannot be barren or fruitless. His own life-power is within it!
