I felt a tender tap on the shoulder by the Holy Spirit. A whisper. He seemed to speak quietly to me, nudging me to avert the danger of becoming so caught up in prayer warfare and faith's pursuits that I neglect simply "being with Jesus..."
Every value compelling my ministry has consistently been to help people realize their potential as “people of the Kingdom”.To pursue Jesus’ power in my life, as well as His purity, is to seek the “other half” of Christ-likeness.
Symbols are ways in which the reality of the invisible penetrates the visible, so that we might capture an understanding of what the Holy Spirit is like. The Holy Spirit comes as rain, as rivers, as oil, as wine, as fire, and as a dove.
The Holy Spirit desires to reach down inside of us, remove obstructions to our wholeness, heal our pain, and fill our souls with God’s peace. By His counsel, wisdom, and might, we can experience deliverance from fear, inner turmoil, temptation, and bondage.
