The absolute authority of the Bible over our lives is based on the fact that this Book does not merely contain the Word of God, but it is the Word of God, both in its sum and in its parts.
This text further teaches us the purpose of Scripture: “…that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” The same Lord who so faithfully sent His Word to us is beside us today, to lead us and equip us for everything He has for us. Let us fearlessly step out into His glorious plan for our lives.
We are not going forward in our own strength or by our own resources. He is completing us, maturing us, and equipping us through His Word.
