Pastor Jack draws from the book of Nehemiah to illustrate how the Holy Spirit comes to rebuild the broken areas of the redeemed believer's life. Using the historical account of Nehemiah returning to Jerusalem to rebuild its walls, Pastor Jack shows how the temple represents our reborn spirit, the city our soul, and the walls our defense against the enemy. He teaches that just as the temple was restored but the walls remained broken down, many believers are saved and Spirit-filled but still carry emotional wounds and broken defenses from their past that leave them vulnerable to spiritual attack.
