He explains that righteousness encompasses both our standing before God and our empowerment for ministry? ?Jesus said “thus it becomes us to fulfill all righteousness” when being baptized. Pastor Jack emphasizes that the Holy Spirit gives believers not only position and authority as sons of God, but also the power (dunamis) and ability to minister Christ’s life and bring “rightness” where wrongness exists.
