Year-End Donation

It goes without saying that 2020 has been a very challenging year for all of us. Events from just months ago seem to have happened years in the past. The global pandemic aside, the world and US has been rocked by wildfires in Australia and the Western United States, racial inequities with corresponding protests and riots, and a hotly divisive political climate and election.

Add all that to your personal circumstances, and I’d say that it’s high time that the Church reignite a passion for prayer!

Kingdom prayer has a pivotal role in the affairs of this world. Jesus’ lesson on prayer, gives us a pivotal assignment to accept the role as intercessors. Our prayers usher in “Your kingdom come.” It is the spiritual action which refuses to surrender this present world to the adversary’s devices and destruction.

Jesus’ assignment is that we pray, “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10. It is our Savior’s way of saying, “Just as you have welcomed the Father’s rule in your hearts, now extend that kingdom rule in prayer.”

Point to earth’s needy places and invite heaven’s forces to break hell’s strongholds and bring hearts, homes, and nations into His glorious freedom.

It’s increasingly important to recognize that we are citizens of two worlds. We are spiritual people redeemed by the Lord to live as His people in the kingdom of God, and, simultaneously, we are human beings living in a very physical world still plagued by the fallen human nature. But our struggles are spiritual. They may look physical, evoking strong emotion, but the Apostle Paul declares that our battle is spiritual, and the only true effective instruments for our warfare are spiritual.

For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4

These weaponries are mighty because they are spiritual, attacking the source of the problem. Satanic strongholds resist the advance of God’s kingdom, and devilish arguments boast themselves against God. These opponents will not yield to human reason, earthly passion or man-made devices.

Prayer translates spiritual action into practical breakthrough. Our warfare demands spirit-filled, Bible-quoting, Holy Spirit-directed, supernatural prayer. This prayer casts down the works of the devil, shuts the mouth of the liar and restores the minds of those captured by their own disobedience.

So, I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” Ezekiel 22:30

Just one person would have made the difference! God sought that person. How many situations are there today, in our world, where the Lord is looking for just one person to stem the tide of sin’s hideous destruction? He is not looking for a perfect person, just a person who will stand before Him on behalf of people who cannot stand for themselves.

We are invited to stand before the throne of all grace, with Jesus at the right hand of the Father. There we plead our case as intercessors.

The Son of God (our Advocate) confirms our intercession, and the power of God is released to flow to places where devastation is at work and God’s redemption is needed. And it only takes one. Let us learn to steward our intercessory privilege with sensitivity and to respond as He calls us to be the ones who stand in the gap.

In the midst of this storm, Jack Hayford Ministries has still been able to help other ministries. We sent over 250 copies of Pastor Jack’s books to help stock a church library in South Africa. JHM also donated over one hundred and twenty books and Bibles to prison inmates, families in need, and elderly in need of encouragement.

We successfully transitioned over 4,800 users from Pastor Jack’s Digital Library to the new and improved Jack Hayford Legacy Library where his teachings are featured along with those of Pastor Robert Morris, one of his many spiritual sons.

Gateway’s Legacy Library now has enhanced features and most importantly, is free. We are excited to share with everyone the rich resource that Pastor Jack’s ministry has been for over 50 years of Bible teaching and pastoral care.

We are thankful for you and all that God has done through you and Jack Hayford Ministries as we partner to impact and impart into the lives of a new generation of leaders.

As JoAnn R. said, “Pastor Jack has been a constant influence and teacher in my Christian life for over twenty-five years. I credit him greatly for helping me grow up in my walk as a young woman…Thank you Pastor Jack from the young girl from Ohio. You guided her to the truth and taught her well. Much love!”

Pastor Courtney H. said, “Perhaps the most significant and enduring influence of Pastor Jack upon me has been his durable demonstration of integrity of heart. It’s a phrase he himself has used numerous times to describe a lifestyle lived fully and transparently in the view of, under the sway of, and in the service of Jesus Christ, by and in His Holy Spirit. Pastor Jack lives what he believes. His revelatory teachings on worship and the Word are extraordinarily rich, but his humility and honesty mark him not just as a remarkable leader but also as a remarkable man, a father in the faith to me and so many others, and a faithful follower of Jesus. I thank God for Pastor Jack Hayford and for his enduring integrity of heart!”

“While under his teaching I received my prayer language, what a gift!” Stephanie C. shared. “Thank you for so much Pastor Jack! I was only able to sit under you for a short period of time in person but continue to learn so much from your books, digital library, and videos! I’m so thankful for God using you to help me grow and mature in God’s Word!”

The Jack Hayford Legacy Library impacts many leaders as a go-to resource for pastors, preachers, and parents. We are excited about the new free and improved format that we can make available to all. Would you partner with us by considering a year-end gift to further expand the library for many others who may not know of this great resource? To ensure a tax deduction make sure your gift is postmarked by December 31, 2020. You may also give online at
