Turning Tears to Triumph

Turning Tears to Triumph

Sunday, April 1, 2012

It’s known as His “triumphal entry.” But as Jesus entered Jerusalem, He wept over the city, knowing the broken capacity of humanity to be swayed by circumstances. Though they welcomed Him rejoicing, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord!” just a few days later their cheers of “Hosanna!” would turn to jeers of “Crucify Him!” Yet the ultimate triumph was about to take place. At the Cross, God’s final victory over everything of tears, defeat or death would be realized, making way for the triumphal entry of Christ into our lives. Spirit Formed TV broadcast.

Watershed Worship, Part 3: The Will of Worship

Watershed Worship, Part 3: The Will of Worship

Sunday, October 30, 2011

When we come to worship, we’re coming to the starting point of everything that begets substance and fruitfulness in our lives. There are many words used today to describe worship—celebration, exaltation, praise, magnifying the Lord, and glorifying the Lord. But at the heart of worship is meeting God, and while praising Him is worthy, He wants us to come into His presence. It’s in that encounter that we experience watershed worship. Spirit Formed TV Broadcast. The "Watershed Worship" series is available as a 3-message album.

Watershed Worship, Part 2: The Way of Worship

Watershed Worship, Part 2: The Way of Worship

Sunday, October 23, 2011

In calling His people to build a tabernacle for Him to come and dwell with them, God wasn’t saying that He needed a physical structure. He wants us to make a conscious decision to open to His presence—to the scope of His influence, and to build a dwelling place for Him where we live—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. To become “living stones being built up a spiritual house” in ourselves that we may advance His Kingdom wherever we go, to whomever we meet. Spirit Formed TV Broadcast. The "Watershed Worship" series is available as a 3-message album.

Watershed Worship, Part 1: The Wisdom of Seeking

Watershed Worship, Part 1: The Wisdom of Seeking

Sunday, October 16, 2011

The sacrifice of open praise is not only biblical, but also a very real summons to come into His presence and present ourselves before the Lord. However you may think it looks to others, there is nothing more dignified than to answer God’s call to worship before Him. He’s called us as a “royal priesthood,” and just like those in David’s time who were called to carry the ark of God, there is something we are called to carry on our shoulders as those who have been redeemed through Christ. It’s not a religious priesthood; it’s the real life of a worshipper of God, and nobody else can carry that for you. Spirit Formed TV Broadcast. The three-part "Watershed Worship" series is available as an album.

The Altars of Abraham, Part 4

The Altars of Abraham, Part 4

Sunday, September 25, 2011

This fourth and concluding episode of the series looks at Abraham's greatest altar-the one upon which he was asked by God to sacrifice his only son. In that sacrifice, called for by the God with whom he'd made a covenant and whose voice Abraham had come to know and trust, you and I see the price of Covenant that would bring redemption to all humankind: the sacrifice of God's only begotten Son on the Cross. This is part four of a four-part Spirit Formed TV series that is also available as an album, "The Altars of Abraham".

The Altars of Abraham, Part 3

The Altars of Abraham, Part 3

Sunday, September 18, 2011

Most of us have had times when we’ve received and believed a promise from God about a practical issue in our life, but as time goes by, that promise is unfulfilled. Abraham’s walk with God is a great study in how the Lord meets us at those times to remind us in a unique way that He hasn’t forgotten His promise. This is part three of a four-part Spirit Formed TV series that is also available as an album, “The Altars of Abraham”.

The Altars of Abraham, Part 2

The Altars of Abraham, Part 2

Sunday, September 11, 2011

Altars are a place of spiritual transaction, where a promise is received and sealed by a response on our part. They are built to commemorate our calling on the Lord in a place where we understand Him more than ever before, acknowledging that He is the God of covenant, of faithfulness, and of truth; He is the God who keeps His word. This is part two of a four-part Spirit Formed TV series that is also available as an album, “The Altars of Abraham”.

The Altars of Abraham, Part 1

Sunday, September 4, 2011

On his journey, Abraham was met by the Lord, received His promise, and sealed it by building an altar. In that is a practical truth for us: from heaven God will meet us with a promise, and, like Abraham, we complete that spiritual transaction at an altar. Whether it’s a physical altar or one established in our hearts, it involves opening to God’s promise and following Him unto its fulfillment. This is part one of a four-part Spirit Formed TV series that is also available as an album, "The Altars of Abraham".

Like Never Before

Like Never Before

Sunday, June 19, 2011

The Revelation of Jesus Christ calls us to confront the real obstacle to our being ready at His appearing, and that is, presuming that whatever growth or blessing we’ve had with Him so far is adequate for the season ahead. Just as John, who was the “stenographer” of this last book of the Bible, had no idea there was more for him than to spend his last years in prison, we too are called to see Jesus “like never before,” and to receive His fresh anointing that will take us further than we can ever imagine.

Jesus, Star of the Morning

Jesus, Star of the Morning

Sunday, April 24, 2011

Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 Christ is risen; He is risen indeed! Jesus is not only the central Person of history, the Bible declares that He’s the Bright and Morning Star. The morning star is the most brilliant light in the eastern sky that shines just before the dawn and introduces a new day. The New Day that Jesus heralds is for every person who need the freshness of a touch from the living God.

Revelation 1:18, 2:28, 22:16, 17
