Pastoral Couples Consultation
Developing Dimensions of Domestic Discipleship
Consultation IV is a Four-Day Encounter with Pastor Jack and Anna Hayford, designed to serve pastoral couples and their ministry. "We do not live under the illusion or suspicion that every church leader's home or marriage is a mess. But we do know how greatly God's grace has preserved ours...and thereby our ministry." And we also learned through our own growth experience the keys to feeding and leading a congregation where marriages are strengthened, families brought to health, children raised in the Lord's way, sexual challenges faced and dealt with...all this, rooted in a growing under-standing of how practical God's Word is when applied. Let us share with you...that you may share with others!"
Day 1:
Evening gathering at Jack and Anna's home with a barbecue dinner, introductory fellowship, and a rich beginning of days in which we will share together as couples, A mini-concert is included in this evening together.
Day 2:
Presentations by Pastor Hayford focus on "Looking at the challenges we all face together." He and Anna will respond together to interaction times with all couples present. Subjects include "Your Defining Moments as a Couple," and "Learning To Cultivate Your 'World.'"
Day 3:
Pastor Hayford and Anna invite guests to join them in discussing the "greatest challenge we've ever faced," testifying to God's mercies attending trial, mightiness effecting healing and deliverance at personal and family dimensions. Also, Pastor Jack will present "Keys To Nurturing Marriages and Families In Your Church."
Day 4:
This concluding day involves further interaction with the Hayfords, renewing marriage vows, partaking of the Lord's Table together, and ending with a time of prayer and anointing, embracing openness to the Holy Spirit's grace and ministry.
Consultation IV also includes this HIGHLIGHT FEATURE: "Our Dinner-and-Date Night Together!"
Our Consultation couples will enjoy dinner together at a pleasant restaurant, and then go to a nearby historic Southern California theater to experience a tasteful, live-stage drama, musicale or comedy. A delight in every way!" is the most common comment afterward.
